Count Down to Christmas – Day 1

At our house we are counting down the days to Christmas with a fun activity each day. Yesterday (December 1st) was our first day and we celebrated by making Christmas Cookies. I made up a batch of Wilton’s Large Batch Roll Out Cookies and then all the kids (mine and the preschool kids) helped cut out cookies and decorate them with red and green sugar. The cookies turned out GREAT!! We had stars, stockings, bells, snowmen, cross, candy cane, reindeer, santa claus and tree cookies.

After we finished baking the cookies everyone enjoyed eating the finished product! We also packaged up a dozen cookies for each preschool child to take home and share with their family.
